National Cherry Blossom Photo Contest: Call for Entries

FotoDC (Washington, DC, www.FotoWeekDC.org) and the National Cherry Blossom Festival (www.nationalcherryblossomfestival.org) are hosting the first annual National Cherry Blossom Photo Contest. Interested photographers can enter photos of landscapes, people and festivities taken during this year’s festival, March 26–April 10, or from festivals within the previous two years. Winners from each category will receive $500 in prize money, exposure on the popular FotoDC and National Cherry Blossom Festival Web sites, and recognition through a special winners’ celebration. Contest dates: February 11 through April 9, 2011.
