By // April 7, 2011 // Posted in Gear & Equipment, Hardware

Award-winning director and photographer Vincent Laforet, exclusively uses Anton/Bauer (Shelton, CT, batteries to film commercials and films. He uses Anton/Bauer Dionic HC batteries to power all his equipment, including the Canon 5D Mark II and 7D cameras, Marshall monitors and Litepanels lights. Laforet chose the Dionic HC because it’s highly dependable and provides two really accurate readouts. One is the power readout and the other is the battery-life readout, which tells you how much battery life is left at your current draw of power. The Dionic HC delivers up to 10 amps for high current draw applications, including on-camera lighting. It can power a 40-watt HD camcorder for over two hours.
