DxO Optics Pro v6.6 Has Additional Noise Reduction and Color Controls

DxO Labs (Paris, France, www.DxO.com) recently announced the availability of DxO Optics Pro v6.6 for Mac- and Windows-based computers. The updated application includes more than 100 new DxO Optics Modules as well as additional camera support, depending on the version, for the Nikon D5100, Olympus E-5, Panasonic DMC GF1, Panasonic DMC GF2 and the Pentax K-R. Optics Pro v6.6 gives users more control over noise in JPEG images thanks to a newly extended range of the chrominance noise slider. Both Standard and Elite versions of DxO Optics Pro v6.6 are available from DxO Labs’ e-store and selected resellers. The Standard Edition has an introductory price of $169, the Pro Elite Edition currently sells for $199.
