82mm ND Filter From Heliopan

HP Marketing (Pine Brook, NJ, www.hpmarketingcorp.com) is now offering an 82mm version of the Heliopan Vario ND filter. The new filter is adjustable from 1 to 6.6 stops of ND (0.3 to 2.0 density); it is neutral in color and mounted in a black anodized brass ring that is numerically calibrated with an index for added convenience. To save time in set-up and use, the filter’s adjustable range is hard stopped at each end. The new filter accommodates a wide variety of lenses, including lenses as wide as 16mm, all without the color shifts, vignetting or artifacts that are common in other variable ND filters.
