Canon DSLRs Capture “Captain America” Action Sequences

Canon’s (Lake Success, NY, top of the line EOS 5D Mark II Digital SLR cameras were used to capture many of the dramatic point-of-view (POV) action shots in the motion picture “Captain America: The First Avenger”. The versatile Canons were called into service because their compact size and lightweight make POV shooting easy. They also feature full 1920 x 1080 HD, compatibility with Canon’s high-performance EF lenses and user-selectable frame rates, including the industry standard 24p.
