DayMen Group Acquires JOBY, Inc.

DayMen Group (, a Petaluma-based company that manufactures and distributes Lowepro and Acme Made bags recently announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire JOBY, the San Francisco-based manufacturer of the award-winning GorillaPod line of flexible tripods. Terms were not disclosed. In addition to its own product lines, the DayMen Group also distributes a wide variety of 3rd party photo products in Canada, including Hoya Lens Filters, Tokina Lenses, Pelican Protective Cases and Lensbaby Camera Lenses, among others.
