George Eastman House Hosts W.M. Hunt Photo Collection

The George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film (Rochester, NY, is currently hosting one of the largest photo exhibitions in its history. Consisting of more than 500 photographs, “The Unseen Eye: Photographs from the W.M. Hunt Collection” will be on display at the museum from October 1, 2011 through February 19, 2012. Featured photographers include Berenice Abbot, Richard Avedon, Robert Frank, Lee Friedlander, Annie Leibovitz, Robert Mapplethorpe, Irving Penn, Man Ray, Edward Steichen, Edward Weston, and Joel-Peter Witkin, among many others. Museum admission: $12 adults, $10 seniors, $5 students.
