Canon Showcases New Professional Gear at PhotoPlus Expo 2011

Canon U.S.A. (Lake Success, NY, recently showcased the new PIXMA PRO-1 Professional Photo Inkjet printer and the revolutionary EOS-1D X Digital SLR camera at PhotoPlus Expo 2011 in New York City. Completely redesigned, the EOS-1D X Digital SLR camera features ISOs up to 204,800, a new 61-Point High Density Reticular Autofocus (AF) System, shooting speeds to 12 frames per second (fps), a new high-performance 18-megapixel Full-Frame CMOS Image Sensor and Full HD Video Recording. The 1D X also has three DIGIC processors, including Dual DIGIC 5+ image processors and a DIGIC 4 for metering and AF control. The PIXMA PRO-1 Professional Photo Inkjet printer features a new print head and a 12-ink LUCIA pigment-based ink system, five of which are monochrome. Max Resolution: 4800 x 2400 dpi. Maximum print size: 13 x 19 inches.
