Four Inspiring Photographers to See at WPPI 2014

If you were to ask a WPPI regular “What’s the number one reason you come to WPPI?” I think across the board the answer would be “to be inspired.”

Whether you’re an old timer (like me) or a WPPI virgin, as a creative person there’s no price you can pay for inspiration. Each year we feature the best photographers, products and ideas the world has to offer, and this year is no different.

Here are a few photographers I draw inspiration from:

Justine Ungaro and I have been friends for many years, and she’s one of those people who I consider a master at her craft. She works tirelessly at creating imagery that sets the standards for excellence in wedding photography. She’s also one of the only crazy people I know who brings a medium format digital camera to shoot weddings! 🙂

Her master class, “Wedding Portraits with Personality & Purpose” on March 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. is perfect for anyone  looking to take their wedding day portrait skills up a notch. I think having a grasp on this is one of the hardest things to achieve, so I highly recommend this class!

David Beckstead’s platform class: Dynamic Live Critique! The Most Fun You will Ever Have” on March 2, 2014 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. sounds like a blast, and he is one of the most entertaining people I’ve ever experienced when it comes to discussing compostion and technique. David’s work never disappoints in the creativity department. He is a master at creating iconic imagery that sticks with you.

And, when it comes to iconic imagery that sticks with you, Davina and Daniel’s work is magical. This dynamic duo has set the bar very high for our industry, and watching them the last few years has been such a treat. Their class Having Your Cake and Eating it To: Getting What You Want from Life and (a Second) Business” on March 4 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. will be packed with knowledge from two who have studied, and implemented better than anyone I know.

Sal Cincotta’s class Increase Your Wedding Bookings, Finding the RIGHT CLIENTS” on March 2, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. will also be jam packed with the help you need to take things up a notch. I can’t think of a better teacher who knows this industry better than Sal. He’ll fill your head with knowledge, and leave you inspired!
