Friday Fun: Snoop Dogg's in the House for One Newlywed Couple

September 5, 2014

By Laura Brauer

Wedding photographers are often asked to go above and beyond for their clients, but when Chris Seibel of Allusion Photography was tasked with hunting down hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, he had to approach, as he says, “some of the biggest security guards I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Seibel was shooting the wedding of Joseph and Neesha Ghaiali when the rapper rolled through the lobby of the Hard Rock hotel they were in. It was the groom’s mother who urged Seibel to approach Snoop Dogg. As Seibel told NBC Chicago, “She said, ‘Chris, do whatever you can to get a picture.'”

So he did.

Despite Snoop’s intimidating entourage, Seibel told NBC that the rapper was absolutely willing to play along. In fact, after Seibel snapped his photos, Snoop whipped out his phone and asked to have his own pictures taken, which he later posted to Instagram under the words “Jus got married.”

Snoop didn’t quite hang with the couple until 6 in the morning, but according to The Huffington Post, he did have a few laughs with them at the bar.
