Clumsy? Unlucky? Canon’s New Promotion Protects Your Gear

From now through January 9, 2016, photographers springing for new Canon gear will get 13 months worth of accidental damage protection free of charge.

The CarePAK PLUS program covers six camera bodies and eight lenses as well as any kit lens bundled with a camera body.

So what’s covered? Canon says accidental damage such as coffee spills, excessive wear and tear and electrical issues will all be fixed free of charge from 13 months from the date of purchase.

If your Canon gear has to go in for repair, the CarePAK PLUS plan ensures it will get priority service, free return shipping and support direct from Canon.

  • EF 24–70mm f/2.8L II USM
  • EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM
  • EF 70–200mm f/2.8L IS II USM
  • EF 100–400mm f/4.5–5.6L IS II USM
