For Nikon shooters, the D4S is the pinnacle performer, delivering blazing burst modes, rapid autofocus and a durable build that can withstand the rigors of professional use.
Now we know what’s next. Nikon announced that it is developing a new full frame flagship DSLR to be named the D5.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is all we know about it. Sorry!
Nikon also revealed that a new wireless transmitter (the WT-6) and new speedlight (SB-5000) will also be joining the ranks, though again, no other information about them was disclosed.
In the absence of concrete information, feel free to speculate wildly as to what the D5 will deliver. What do you want to see in Nikon’s next flagship? Let us know in the comments.
