For hardworking wedding photographer Anna Ambrosi of Bianco Photography (she’s from Verona, Italy, but based in London), 2015 was a banner year that she says can be traced back to one 3-day event in particular last October—the Caribbean-themed wedding of couple Carolyn and Scott in Jamaica. “Carolyn and Scott were the most loving and kind of hosts since the very first minutes of our weekend together,” says Ambrosi, “and I’ll never, ever find words enough to thank them for the wonderful gift of allowing me to be their wedding photographer. I hope my pictures make them remember about the beauty they were surrounded by and that they created themselves gathering together their wonderful families in such a paradise on earth.”
Day 1: The highlight was a dinner at the Lobster Trapp, located just in front of the Round Hill Resort in Montego Bay where the wedding was to take place a few days later. Says Ambrosi, “I don’t really eat lobsters but everything was so delicious and people were so nice and friendly, and having a delicious candlelight dinner was a great way to kick off the island wedding.”
Day 2: A ceremony rehearsal at the Infinity Pool on the grounds of Round Hill Resort, as well as an all-white dinner on the sand for the night before the wedding, and then a thrilling show of performers, fireworks and even a fire eater, says Ambrosi.
Day 3: Wedding Day! “Carolyn was wearing a dreamy Reem Acra creation and she and her maids of honor were a vision. Scott and his groomsman were impeccable,” Ambrosi gushes.
Ambrosi’s work has been published on countless blogs and magazines including Style Me Pretty, Love My Dress, 100 Layer Cake, Looks Like Film, You May French Kiss the Bride and Your London Wedding Magazine, among others.
