Harriet and Hayley of Weddings Vintage (and Rf 30 Rising Stars in 2014) captured this moment around sunset as newlyweds Kerry and Rhian wandered down a picturesque path at Nant Gwrtheyrn, a national heritage site on the northwest coast of Wales. “You have to drive down a seriously steep cliff side to access it,” Harriet says, “but as the road unfolds, the view of the rugged coast is breathtaking.”

The duo likes to encourage couples to have some time for themselves throughout the wedding day. “I’ll grab some up-close portraits,” Harriet says, “but then I’ll just hang back and let them share some genuine time together alone. We’d just wrapped up here and I suggested Kerry and Rhian walk back along this path. I snapped this just as they walked into the golden patch of light and the sun illuminated Kerry’s dress. I like the landscape to play a big role in my wedding photography so you can get a real sense of how the day ‘felt.'”
