Snapshots TV Brings Event Images to Apple TV

The event photo app Snapshots is rolling out an update to its native Apple TV app that lets photographers display their work on the big screen.

The Snapshots TV app (available for free in the Apple TV app store) can be used by photographers in several ways. It can be used in studio as a kind of big screen portfolio. It can also be sold as an add-on by photographers to their clients, who can unlock their albums on their own Apple TVs. Finally, it can be offered by photographers as a value-add to their package.

Snapshots will add an e-commerce function to Snapshots TV in the future so that clients can buy prints directly from their TV. Support for video playback is also in the works for future updates, the company says.

Snapshots is free for the first 30 days, and is $20/month or $200/year thereafter.  You can get a flavor of the Apple TV app in the video below.
