Sigma has rolled out several new Art lenses, including the world’s first 14mm f/1.8 full frame DSLR lens. We don’t know when the new lenses will ship or what they’ll cost, but they’ll all be full frame DSLR lenses for Canon, Nikon and Sigma mounts.

14MM F/1.8 DG HSM ART

Said lens (pictured above) is the 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art. According to Sigma, this is the world’s first (and only) f/1.8 14mm full frame DSLR lens. Like other models in the line, it features full-time manual focus override and is compatible with Sigma’s USB dock. It offers nine rounded aperture blades and stops down to f/16.

The lens features a new optical stabilizer and a metal lens barrel with a weather-sealed mount. It boasts a retooled hypersonic motor with 1.3 times the torque for its predecessor to improve AF performance.

Additional features include:

  • full time manual focus override
  • compatibility with Sigma’s USB dock
  • supports Sigma’s mount conversion service
  • stops down to f/22
  • 9 aperture blades
  • maximum magnification 1:4.8

This new prime lens features an acceleration sensor which detects the orientation of the lens–information which is used by the AF system to compensate for speedier, more accurate performance. There’s also a focus limiter and full-time manual focus override.

Like other models in the line, the 135mm’s mount is dust and splash proof. The lens has a minimum focusing distance of 34.4. Additional features include:

  • compatibility with Sigma’s USB dock
  • supports Sigma’s mount conversion service
  • stops down to f/16
  • 9 aperture blades
  • maximum magnification 1:5

Weighing in at 41 ounces, the new telephoto lens boasts optical image stabilization with an acceleration sensor that can detect the direction of camera shake–the better to stabilize your image whether you’re holding your camera vertically or horizontally.

The zoom ring has a push/pull mechanism alongside the traditional twist zoom ring. You’ll enjoy a minimum working distance of 63 inches and a magnification of 1:3.8.  The mount is weather sealed. Additional features include:

  • manual focus over-ride
  • compatibility with Sigma’s USB dock
  • supports Sigma’s mount conversion service
  • stops down to f/22
  • nine aperture blades
