Tiny Daydreamer [Rf Photo of the Day]

Melbourne, Australia-based photographer Caroline Bowen of Beloved Photography was wrapping up with this newborn shoot when she snapped the tiny tot in a comfy, curled up pose. “Newborn babies love to be curled and held tightly,” Bowen says. “This baby was just ten days old, so she was nice and sleepy.”

Bowen used a circular bowl layered with soft fabrics and fluffy rugs as props, both for the baby’s comfort and also to create “that soft, dreamy look,” she says. This particular newborn was also wrapped in a delicate mohair wrap, creating a palette of neutrals and browns that is simple and serene.
